👩‍⚕️ Orthopaedic surgeon specialized in hand, wrist, and elbow surgery, Dr. Burnier is based in Lyon, France. She trained under Prof. Guillaume Herzberg at the Faculty of Medicine in Lyon and further expanded her expertise through prestigious international fellowships in Hong Kong 🇭🇰, at the Hospital for Special Surgery (New York 🇺🇸), and at Mayo Clinic (Rochester 🇺🇸). She practices within the SOS Mains unit at Médipôle Lyon-Villeurbanne, where her clinical expertise includes: 🔹 Advanced wrist and elbow surgery 🔹 Comprehensive elbow care (epicondylitis, instability, stiffness) 🔹 Arthroscopic management, including arthrolysis and synovial chondromatosis 📚 Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Burnier is: • Author of several scientific publications • A regular speaker at international meetings 🌍 • Actively involved in leading upper-limb societies and the French National Academy of Surgery • Co-founder of one of the first international elbow arthroscopy training courses at IRCAD Strasbourg 🎓 🚀 In November 2025, she launched the SOS Coude initiative within ICMMS, dedicated to streamlined assessment and specialized care for elbow conditions — reinforcing her commitment to innovation and excellence in upper-limb surgery.
